ILLUSION to INSPIRATION – A Mega Live Show by Gopinath Muthukad

In February 1987, a young magician stepped onto the stage at Tagore Centenary Hall in Kozhikode, nervous, yet full of dreams. That night became a turning point, as the city embraced him with warmth and offered him something invaluable: BELIEF. Kozhikode has remained close to his heart ever since.

38 years later, that same magician, Gopinath Muthukad, returns with ILLUSION to INSPIRATION, a live mega show filled with wonder, reflection, and heartfelt emotion. This powerful performance is a tribute to his late father, who, despite hoping for a different path for his son, stood by him as he followed his true calling.

Though he has stepped away from active stage performance, Muthukad continues to carry the spirit of magic forward through the lives of the differently abled children at the Different Art Centre and with the vision of building the International Institute for People with Disabilities (IIPD) at Kasaragod, a dream rooted in inclusion, dignity, and hope.
